20 January 2019, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s jack-up installation vessel Brave Tern successfully installed the final turbine, completing the installation of 49 MHI Vestas V164-8.3MW turbines. Horns Rev 3 is Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm to date and will provide up to 425.000 households with clean energy.
- 20 January 2019: Brave Tern finished installation of last turbine
- 4 January 2019: Brave Tern installed the 100th MHI Vestas V164-8MW turbine (Bold Tern installed 56 during Borkum Riffgrund 2)
- 26 November 2018: Brave Tern completed installation on the company’s 400th wind turbine
