Hohe See and Albatros wind farms are located in the German part of the North Sea and was at the time, the largest offshore wind farm project under construction in Germany.
Up to 710,000 households with clean energy
20 September 2019, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s jack-up installation vessels Brave Tern and Blue Tern successfully finished transport and installation at the Hohe See and Albatros wind farms where they had been working in tandem installing the 87 Siemens Gamesa SWT-7.0-154 turbines.
- 5 April 2019: Brave Tern installed first turbine on Hohe See
- 12 August 2019: Installation on Hohe See wind farm completed
- 21 August 2019: First turbine installed on Albatros
