Brave Tern arrives in St. Nazaire, France

The process of loading the GE Renewable Energy’s Haliade 150-6MW nacelles onto the Brave Tern for the Block Island Wind Farm project will begin shortly.

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s jack-up installation vessel Brave Tern has arrived in St. Nazaire in western France.

“This is an exciting project to be working on and we look forward to working closely with GE and Deepwater Wind to safely and efficiently install the first offshore wind farm in America,” said Head of Commercial and Projects, Even Larsen.

Brave Tern is the largest offshore wind jack-up vessel to make port in France.
