With a zero-accident objective, FOO takes great care to maintain health, safety, and environment (HSE) for our employees, subcontractors, and customers. ‘Think first – act safely’ is our motto, and through careful risk awareness and well-implemented risk management systems we have established highly efficient work processes that keep people and assets safe.

Our Code of Conduct firmly states that we do not accept any form of discrimination regarding gender, age, ethnic origin, disability, sexual orientation, religion, political opinion, or otherwise. Through employee training, we make sure everyone at FOO is fully aware of our high ethical standards.

Environment

FOO plays a vital role in helping the world to produce cleaner and more sustainable energy. As an important part of this, we are also implementing ways to reduce our own environmental impact. For example, all our vessels have been designed to minimize fuel consumption, which can be constantly monitored and optimized. In addition, two of our vessels have been voluntarily built in accordance with ‘DNVGL Clean Design’.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

FOO participates actively in the Fred. Olsen Social Engagement Group (FOSEG), which helps and enables us to make a positive contribution to society.

All FOO companies strictly follow human rights acts, which means we pay fair wages, we do not employ children, and we offer all our personnel comprehensive insurance packages. We encourage healthy living by arranging and supporting sports activities and by serving healthy food in our canteens. It is also strictly forbidden for any employee to accept bribes or use a position of trust to gain an undue advantage.
