Bayard 1 celebrates fifth birthday with class renewal and new certificates
Last week, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s Bayard class crew transfer vessel (CTVs) fleet received the International Safety Management (ISM) and Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) certification by DNV GL.
The certificate was issued after a thorough auditing process by DNV GL confirming all procedures and operations were compliant with the ISM code enabling the company to meet the future requirements within HSEQ for offshore wind.
The certificate reaffirms the high standards to which the company delivers its services and solid HSEQ track record.
At the end of November, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier completed the 5 year class renewal and bottom survey of Bayard 1 with no condition of class. Once again highlighting the high quality and safety awareness of our company and employees.
The Bayards are Norwegian-built, Danish-flagged vessels classed under the DNV GL High Speed Light Craft code (1A1 HSLC wind farm Service R1) providing a first class service for wind farm owners, operators and sub suppliers in Northern Europe.
Fred. Olsen Windcarrier is able to provide Bayard class vessels with DNV GL and DMA approval for the carriage of dangerous goods (IMDG), hot storage facilities, as well as additional options as requested by clients.
