Naming ceremony for Bayard 3 on the 17th of February
The ceremony took place at the waterfront downtown Mandal, Norway on a sunny day with Fred.Olsen himself present.
Once godmother Ellen Oset officially named the vessel Bayard 3 with the traditional champagne on the bow, there were guided tours of the vessel and afterwards a festive lunch.
The Bayard class has been specifically designed to best serve the high demands of the wind industry. Purpose-built for safe and efficient transport of crew and cargo to and from offshore wind farms, the Bayard class sets the standard for future crew vessels.
